The Demand Has Never Been Greater
The Demand Has Never Been Greater
- Why are we so sick? According to the CDC, 1 in 4 adults have two or more chronic health conditions, and they are the leading causes of death and disability in the US. The most common are preventable. What do these conditions have in common, and what can we do to reverse the effects of disease to create wellbeing for our patients?
- Presented by Dr. DicQie Fuller
- 95% of all disease starts in the gut! Dr. Milton Bastidas will highlight what he learned as the lead researcher of a 63-day study sponsored by Transformation Enzyme Corporation on restoring gut function with nutrition and enzyme therapy. Learn why Dr. Bastidas begins every patient on enzymes, the results you can expect to see in your own practice, how to identify the signs of leaky gut, what testing to consider, and protocols for healing gut permeability.
- Presented by Dr. Milton Bastidas
- Hormone imbalances are no longer a symptom of aging. More and more women are experiencing symptoms of hormonal imbalance years ahead of menopause. In fact 5-10% of teens and young women have been diagnosed with PCOS. Our men are not immune to hormone imbalance either. Before there is andropause there may be adrenal fatigue or thyroid hormone imbalances. What drives these changes? Having an understanding of this disease, the etiology, current trends in medical treatment, and the important role of good nutrition and exercise will help you to support and unlock your patient’s potential for health and wellness.
- Presented by Dr. Tamyra Comeaux
- Google “common childhood illnesses” and you will find the leading causes of death for children 5-14 years of age are accidents, cancer, and intentional self-harm (suicide). You will also find 1 in 5 school age children are obese, which has more than tripled since the 1970s, and 13 percent of children ages 8 to 15 had a diagnosable mental disorder within the previous year. The most common disorder among this age group is attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), which affects 8.5 percent of this population. This is followed by mood disorders broadly at 3.7 percent, and major depressive disorder specifically at 2.7 percent. One in 68 births have autism spectrum disorder. What is our role as health providers? What is making our children more at risk than ever before? Can we reverse these statistics? Learn what one pediatrician is doing to educate, treat, and provide hope for children and their families.

- Stress not only makes us sick, it is keeping us sick! It has been said that up to 90% of all doctor’s office visits are for stress-related ailments and complaints. Do you recognize these patients? Frequent headaches, high blood pressure, heart palpitation, diabetes, skin conditions, asthma, arthritis, depression, anxiety, hormone irregularities, digestive disturbances, immune dysfunction, pain, and inflammation. Learn about chronic stress and anxiety as it relates to the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and the physiology of stress and the importance of cortisol. Discover how to turn off the stress response and stress hormones and turn on the healing hormones and repair mechanism. Understand the role of diet and supplementation on promoting a healthy, balanced ANS.
- Presented by Dr. DicQie Fuller
- Chronic stress accelerates premature aging. Heart Rate Variability (HRV) may be the best indicator of healthy aging. By measuring your “adaptive reserves” (i.e., your in-the-moment ability to handle physical, emotional, and mental stress), HRV is a marker for heart health and health in general. HRV can show changes in stress even when other markers (such as blood pressure) are still in a normal range. Learn how HRV testing helps you visualize and plot stress and its progression. And perhaps even more importantly, learn how Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia (RSA) works to improve HRV and decrease the effects of stress.
- Presented by Dr. Joseph Feste
- This is a hands-on demonstration of Transformation’s new BioDézyne™ HRV. Are you looking for a non-invasive test for the effects that stress has on your patients? Learn through demonstration how to use Heart Rate Variability (HRV) to visualize and plot stress and its progression. Learn through demonstration how Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia (RSA) works to improve HRV and decrease the effects of stress.
