About the Speaker

Amy Rawls, MS, RD, LD, FMNS, CGN, has practiced in the Beaumont and Houston area since 2010 when she completed her Master’s degree with a Dietetic residency through Lamar University. She has gone on to earn additional certifications as a Functional Medical Nutritionist and Certified Gastrointestinal Nutritionist. Amy has more than ten years of experience applying functional nutrition practices to an array of metabolic clinical states. She is currently Director of Clinical Services for Transformation Enzyme Corporation where she gained her certification in enzyme therapy and is responsible for all of Transformation's Education and Development material and programs. She also oversees Transformation's Clinic and technical support services and assists with research and development. Amy has spoken at various events, seminars, and conferences both locally and internationally on topics related to nutrition and enzyme application. Her passion for health focuses on holistic, integrative, and functional medical nutrition therapy. She has a personal mission to create awareness that even healthy food can be poison if not digested properly.

About the Speaker

Erin Skinner is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner. She is co-founder of the SIBO Academy and founder of Empowered Nutrition, a group that empowers functional nutrition practices to leverage the power of nutrition to optimize wellness with the use of insurance benefits. Erin holds an MS in Integrative Physiology, is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition (DCN) from Rutgers University, and is the host of the Empowered Nutrition Podcast.

About the Speaker

Jennifer Doctorovich, LPC-A, FNTP, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and Functional Nutritional Therapist who uses functional medicine, supplementation, and an integrative background with her clients. She is also an LPC-Associate supervised by Tamara Allen Bush. Jennifer has a strong group fitness background having managed and taught (cycling, core, and HIIT amongst many) at gyms in New York City and Texas for 20 years, specializing in Chronic Fatigue, HPA Dysregulation, and Blood Sugar handling issues prevalent with performers and athletes. With her therapy clients, Jennifer is focused on the gut/brain connection and the effect of nutrition on neurotransmitters, anxiety, and mood disorders. She has transitioned into nutritional psychology for mental health stability and trauma informed psychotherapy. Her professional identity lies in PTSD and attachment theory, employing a psychodynamic/multimodal modality which includes somatic work such as Brainspotting, DBT, and Parts work. A graduate from the University of Western States with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Jennifer is also a professionally trained actress, a graduate of the California Institute of the Arts, and a member of Actor's Equity where she continues her research with performing artists, a passion population.
